A New Chapter for La Famiglia Dolce Amore

Dolce Amore is expanding its legendary Vancouver brand with three unique culinary experiences! Founded in 2002 on Commercial Drive, Dolce Amore has grown from a beloved gelateria into a full-service Italian destination, combining authentic gelato, modern Italian café culture, and elevated dining experiences. Guided by culinary director Chef Pino Posteraro, all locations celebrate authentic Italian flavors, family, and community, crafted with the finest local and sustainable ingredients.

The Gelato Mafia now has two locations: TGM Terrazza in Burnaby, featuring a gelato patio and pickup window, and LoLo Lounge in North Vancouver, home to Canada’s first affogato bar. Guests can enjoy scoops, takeaway pints, gelato cakes, and seasonal specialties — perfect for a casual stroll or a sweet treat.

Dolce Amore Bar & Caffetteria in Burnaby offers a true Italian café experience, serving freshly brewed espresso from Napoli, housemade pastries, pizza al taglio, bronze-cut pasta, and aperitivi and cocktails. Open daily, it’s the ideal spot for morning coffee, casual lunches, or evening drinks with friends.

Il Cappello Enoteca, Dolce Amore’s first full-service restaurant, brings traditional Tuscan and regional Italian cuisine to life with a modern touch. Guests can enjoy handcrafted pasta, risotto, antipasti, piatti principali, and gelato desserts in a 100-seat dining room and enclosed year-round patio. True to Italian hospitality, Il Cappello invites guests to “lay down your hat, you’re home.”

And where the legend born; the original Dolce Amore Commercial Drive location will reopen in 2026, continuing the brand’s legacy offering criminally good gelato, authentic Italian caffetteria experience and more!

From gelato to espresso, pizza to pasta, Dolce Amore is Vancouver and Burnaby’s destination for Italian desserts, cafés, and dining experiences.
